Six points between collection and certification. Weights are reported against four routes separately, reused, recycled, recovered and disposed, rather than as a single diversion figure.

    Weighed at source

    Weighed and signed off at the collection site before loading.

  2. 02

    Transported

    Moved against a delivery document, with an e-way bill where the consignment value requires one.

  3. 03

    Re-weighed on arrival

    Weighed again at Haridwar. Any variance against the source weight is recorded.

  4. 04

    Segregated

    Sorted to stream. Contaminants, moisture and foreign material are recorded by weight.

  5. 05

    Dispatched

    Sent to the named mill, recycler or FSWS production line against invoice and weighment.

  6. 06

    Certificate issued

    By whichever party performed the recovery, referenced to the weights above.

Output

What the material becomes

Two streams do not leave Haridwar as waste at all. Ash is pressed into masonry, green waste is composted. Both are consented processes, and both are why the end use can be named rather than estimated.

    Compost produced from green waste, dry leaves, cow dung and canteen waste using a proprietary bacterial culture. Composting is a consented process at the Haridwar facility.
